Science and Technology: Key to a Better Future

    Time may pass, and people may age, but societal issues will always be present. As a result, we cannot deny that these issues have an impact on our lives and the world we live in. They will never go away unless they are solved, and this is where science and technology thrive. 

    The Philippines' list of societal and human issues is still long. Some of these include lack of access to healthcare and educational support, as well as unemployment and environmental concerns. Other issues have and continue to affect the country's science and technology, economy, and people's well being over the last two years. This issue is the well-known and devastating Corona Virus-19 Disease, also known as the COVID-19 pandemic. Massive efforts have been made by people, particularly in the medical field, to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Scientists and researchers have conducted numerous studies and research to find a solution to this pandemic. Experiments are also carried out in order to develop vaccines, booster shots, and other medications required to cure the virus. Various tools , devices, and technologies have also been improved for experimentation and testing processes. Furthermore, when it comes to educational access, science and technology became more accessible, flexible, and better during the pandemic. Education continues through online learning thanks to research and the multiple technologies available. Science and technology continue to advance by providing solutions to human issues. To name one more example, the agricultural sector has greatly improved over time. Various methods of increasing crop yields have been explored, and various equipment has been developed.

    In conclusion, human issues have a greater influence on science and technology than we realize. Science and technology are constantly progressing, and we must contribute to it. The fate of our future is in our hands.
